Ten renowned national photographers, all winners of the Rodrigo Rojas de Negri award between 2007 and 2017, are part of the exhibition at the Photography Gallery of the La Moneda Cultural Center. The award given by the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage since 2007 is in honor of the artistic and social commitment of the young photographer murdered during the dictatorship. With the presence of the Undersecretary of Culture and Arts, Jimena Jara, the exhibition An Expanded View: Rodrigo Rojas de Negri Award was inaugurated this Tuesday, January 14 at the La Moneda Cultural Center (CCLM). Curated by Andrea Aguad, it brings together the work of ten renowned national photographers, winners of the Rodrigo Rojas de Negri Award for young talent in Photography, between 2007 and 2017. The exhibition presents the photographic work of Tomás Munita, Riki Portugueis, Marco Fredes, Fabián España, Nicolás Wormull, Zaida González, Alejandro Olivares, Cristóbal Olivares, Felipe Durán and Celeste Rojas, creators who work from different angles, such as photojournalism, ethnography and artistic photography.
