Therese Asplund is an internationally awarded portrait and fine art photographer who loves  lighting and working with people. Among her awards you find six times Swedish Champion and overall winner 2022, six times camera winner (Top 3) in the FEP awards, several Top 3 awards and the  overall winner in the WPE awards 2023, two times Photographer of the years awars in SWPP in London 2024 and the overall Grand Prix winner in Trierenberg Super Circuit 2022.    

She has a Master QEP qualification with the FEP, is Senior Master with WPE and has the Swedish gesällbrev. She is a trained judge and has judging experience from several different  competitions, in several countries, and from judging panels at the QEP and MQEP qualifications 2023.  

She has run her own portrait studio for more than fifteen years and whether she is there, shooting children and families, or out working on one of her own art projects, it is always with the same passion and dedication. She is very curious and loves to challenge herself and try new things so among her images you find everything from classical art like fine art portraits, with a story, to graphical fashion portraits in bright colours.  

Since several years she has been an ambassador for Elinchrom International and a Nikon Europe creator and she has been speaking and done workshops and live shoots both in Sweden and abroad. Apart from shooting she loves to help other photographers grow and is running a workshop concept called Play to learn where she arranges photo trips that brings photographers together, give them memories for a lifetime, a whole lot of new knowledge and a bunch of new friends.    

Her work has been published is several photographic magazines both in Sweden and  abroad and in 2023 she opened her own Art shop to sell her photographic art.
