FotoFestival Naarden presents landscape photographer Saskia Boelsums alongside Van Ruysdael

The most famous photo festival in the Netherlands is FotoFestival Naarden. The striking buildings and locations of the old fortified city are then filled with pictures of appealing photographers from all over the world. This year's theme is "Dutch Masters & Marvelous Misfits". A parallel is drawn between the Dutch Masters of the Golden Age and the contemporary Dutch Masters of Photography.

The work of landscape photographer / visual artist Saskia Boelsums is presented at the photo festival in the Grote Kerk alongside the famous paintings by Salomon van Ruysdael. In this way the visitor sees two art forms, one from an old master who shows a landscape using oil paint and one from a modern master who achieves that result with photography. Saskia's work was printed on Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag by Canson Infinity Certified Print Lab, Wilkovak.
